In spring conditions it was really comfortable and we had no problem with condensation, although we left the windows open all night and the temperature averaged 60-65 degrees all weekend. My hubby has never been backpacking, but even to him it was a cinch to set up and was fairly easy to disassemble. As an avid backpacker I found it really roomy and easy to set up. I got this tent as a wedding present and it is by far my favorite gift. Do not pay full price for this tent, and DEFINITELY don't plan to use it in more severe weather situations.Ġ of 0 people found the following review helpful. I am 5'4 and I could have possibly been comfortable by myself in that tent, but I don't see how anyone else would have fit in there comfortably with me.The condensation build-up on the tent in the morning was EXTREME (even with the rain fly properly set up and in dry conditions). The mesh sides make it impractical to remove the rain fly, leaving the tent extremely stuffy and hot during the day.Overall: well worth the $30 groupon deal but I doubt we'll EVER use it again after that first time. However, for a fun camping weekend with my boyfriend, this tent just did not cut it.The pros:It was extremely easy to setup (even in the dark). There was a light rain the second night and the tent stayed dry inside (with the exception of the condensation build-up but at least we weren't directly rained on).The cons:It barely fit a full size air mattress inside of it with absolutely no room for anything else. This tent would probably be great for a backpacker or someone needing minimal comfort.

I got the 2-person Swiss Gear Alpine Peak tent for $32 using a Groupon deal, and I am definitely glad I didn't pay more for it. I live in San Diego so needless to say, the camping around here is pretty light and easy. A back window increases airflow and grants occupants the 360-degree visibility required to prevent bears from hijacking their pic-a-nic baskets. Once zipped all the way up, a Swiss Gear tent transforms into a durable, waterproof shelter with a mesh covering that breathes to keep campers cool and comfy.
