There are master posts that go up after every update that list the mods that have been cleared for use and which ones need to be updated. Mods needing to be updated is just part of modding. Almost every mod I have downloaded and 'how to mod' videos I watch have a section that tells you that you need to remove your mod folder before you update the game. I take my mod folder out completely, update the game and play on my vanilla file until the mods are updated. I have a few others for challenges and stuff but that's not important right now. I have a few different save files, including one for testing new mods to make sure they work, one that's the vanilla game, and one that's all the mods I know I love to use. If waiting to update your game doesn't appeal to you, you can try what I do.
